I have coached leaders and innovators to help them realise their potential in projects, career (and possibly beyond). With listening, exploration of strengths and questions I facilitate a context for self-discovery, developing new options and addressing important goals. You can also expect supportive challenge and encouragement for experimentation as part of your learning journey.
Reflecting research and some project experience I offer a point of view on the competencies linked to leadership success for an innovation-driven organisation or team opposite. These cover the dimensions of achievement, capability, change/ innovation, and collaboration.

I explain my capability perspective briefly in this article: Competencies for leading innovation?
Coaching is very different to my insight-sharing consultancy. Team facilitation, however, has many parallels. I approach both with a conviction that all the resources are available to achieve exceptional growth. They also both depend on a collaborative approach that employs curiosity, structure and constructive nudges.
I now recognise I should have invested more time exploring my career goals and considering how my strengths or interests could have shaped these. Discussing the leader you want to be and what you have gained on your journey is an important conversation that can also build motivation.
