I really enjoy facilitation and workshops.
Workshops have always contributed to my projects and my participants have ranged from FTSE CEOs, to co-creating consumers, to cross-functional teams and start-ups. My emergence as a facilitator started about a decade ago following my development of an innovation capability programme for Essity. Five consecutive days regularly leading a residential academy and problem-solving workshops served to stress-test my facilitation skills. It was an incredible learning experience. Requests for workshops have flowed since, alongside hosting conferences and a few expert panels.

Running workshops has become a passion. The combination of collective energy, collaboration and shared focus can get participants quickly to ambitious outcomes and build team cohesion too. They also push me to learn rapidly with topics ranging from gut health to grocery delivery or financial planning to forestry management or personal hygiene to property search. Facilitation is almost always a fun journey of discovery.
I must add planning contributes significantly to a successful workshop experience. I help clients visualise outcomes and collaborate on the development of pre-work, content, stimulus, tools, templates, etc. Great preparation enables great facilitation!
